Hi Gang and thanks for checking in on me. Guess you've noticed that I have not blogged in a couple of weeks.
Due to a rather nasty lung infection brewing in my lungs, the doc has taken me out of rehab but.....WAIT...WAIT...... it is only temporary and I should be able to start back in rehab next week if my lungs continue to improve. If not next week then the following week for sure. Just in time to celebrate my birthday. :-)
It is getting to be "that" season when ragweed is flying, bus exhaust fumes are soaring, and the elves are beginning to work over time, 'round the clock, to get all the holiday goodies ready. The ghosties and goblins are already grumbling and moaning and clanking chains. Can you hear them??

There's a lot going on over there and we are organizing a "Newbie Chat" which will be hosted by 2 of our newbies, Karen and Sable. It is a 'let's get to know each other, ask copd questions, chat amongst ourselves' kind of open chat and there is no pressure. You can just log in and sit and watch if you like. You won't be pressured or made to feel uncomfy. So check in and see which evening Karen and Sable will be holding the first "Newbie Chat."
OK, back to the rehab. I'm really sorry for this unplanned hiatus and rest assured that I will return in the next week or so and we will be....

Hang in there Kasey! You've got a great fighting spirit and I'm cheering for you to recover quickly from this recent infection. You sound like you're really itching to get back to rehab. :)
I am overcoming the flu and a UTI myself. Ever since I had pneumonia and all my other lung problems 2 years ago, my immune system is like mush. I can look at someone in a sealed fiberglass cage that is 2 feet thick that has the flu and I would still get it. This would be my 5th UTI in 2 years.
